Bog body

A bog body is a human corpse that has naturally mummified after being left in a bog.
The environment of the peat bog preserves some features (like skin) which would usually decay.

Such bodies are often found.
The oldest ones date to about 8000 BC.
The most recent bodies are dead soldiers from World War II.
