Charango

The Charango is an instrument somewhat resembling a guitar, or a lute.
It came from the Altiplano in South America, in the 16th century.
It may have come from the city of Potosi, in Bolivia.

Usually, it has a length of , which makes it smaller than an Ukulele.
Larger versions have been made too.
It usually has four chords, and is plucked like a mandolin.
