"I Hate Everything About You" is the first single off of Canadian rock band Three Days Grace's first studio album "Three Days Grace".
The song was released on April 28, 2003.

The song was able to make it to #2 on the Alternative Airplay, #4 on the Mainstream Rock, #28 on the Mainstream Top 40, and #55 on the "Billboard" Hot 100 charts.
The song was certified 2× Platinum by Music Canada and 2× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The song is about relationships that have issues with love and hate.
When asked in an interview about the song, vocalist Adam Gontier said "The song is pretty blunt you know? It's to the point.
It's about realizing there's something in your life you're wasting time on.
I think everybody, even in this band and a lot of other people have felt that way before at one point or another in their life.
Whether it's a person, a relationship whatever it is, you're just wasting time on it.
The song is a realization of that".

In the video, the performs the song.
Different scenes are shown, like a man catching his girlfriend cheating, a father abusing his son, and the end of a relationship.
The man breaks the picture of him and his girlfriend together, the abused son smashes a bottle of Jack Daniels, and the woman throws a love journal on the ground.
People gather around the band and start a moshpit.
