Nesseby, or "Unjárga", is a municipality in Norway's northernmost county, Finnmark.

Settlements include Nesseby (settlement).

History.

Until 1915, skeletons (of c.
130 humans) were dug up (and taken) from where they were buried, and sold; Some of those skeletons were used for research.

During WW II, a prison camp was started (at Vesterelv) for [foreign] prisoners; The Nazi government of Germany ruled over Norway.

Places for sacrifice, have been found; A [stone where one could put something to sacrifice, or] sacrificial stone, was broken up and removed by road workers (2023).
