Peter Bobáň Mrozik (April 9, 1967 - June 28, 1994) was a Slovak-born American ice hockey player.

Early life.

Mrozik was born on April 9, 1967, in Terchova, today a part of Slovakia.
The Mrozik family immigrated to the United States during the Prague Spring.
The family resided in New Haven, Connecticut.

Ice hockey career.

Peter Mrozik grew up playing ice hockey in New Haven and Hartford.
In the late 1980s, he moved to California to join the California Hawks in the semi-professional Pacific Southwest Hockey League.

At the start of the 1990-91 season, Mrozik returned to his native Czechoslovakia to sign a professional contract with TJ Slavia Ekonom Bratislava, competing in the 2nd tier hockey league.
However, Mrozik failed to make an impact, appearing in only seven matches, and scoring a single goal before being released.

Mrozik resumed his hockey career in 1992, signing a contract with the Estonian team Keemik Kohtla-Jarve.
Mrozik played for Keemik in the last two seasons of his hockey career, 1992-93 and 1993-94, each time finishing third in the standings.

Death.

Peter Mrozik died in a car crash in Los Angeles, California on June 28, 1994.
