Phillip Verhounig (5 January 2006) is an Austrian football player.
He plays as Striker for FC Liefering in the Austrian Second league.

Career.

Verhounig began his career at SV Griffen.
For the 2016/17 season he moved to the youth team at Wolfsberger AC.
In February 2020 he moved to the FC Red Bull Salzburg academy.
He played in all age groups.
On 19 May 2023 he made his debut for FC Liefering.
He came in for Oumar Diakité at half-time against SV Lafnitz.

International.

Verhounig played for the Austrian u16 national team for the first time in June 2022.
In September 2022 he made his debut against Denmark in the U-17 team.
