Thomas Henry Kane (born January 14, 1964 in Montreal) is an Canadian former football wide receiver and convicted murderer.

Career.

Kane was drafted out of the Syracuse by the Seattle Seahawks with the 75th pick in the third round of the 1988 NFL Draft.
Kane played 57 games with the Seahawks but his NFL career was cut short because of injuries.
The Seahawks released him and he joined to Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 1994.
He only played 5 games for the Argonauts and retired shortly after.

Crime.

On November 30, 2003, Kane stabbed his wife Tammara Shaikh to death.
He pled guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter.
He was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
He was ordered by a judge to pay $590,000 to his wife's family.

On 2018, he was given six months of day parole.
In May 2019, he was sent back to jail for violating his release.
