Ronnie Walter Cunningham (March 16, 1932 – January 3, 2023) was an American astronaut, fighter pilot and physicist.
He was a lunar module pilot on the Apollo 7 mission in 1968.
He was one of NASA's first civilian astronauts.
He wrote the book "The All-American Boys" (1977).
He was born in Creston, Iowa.
Cunningham died of problems caused by a fall on January 3, 2023, in Houston, Texas.
He was 90.
